Frequently asked questions

1) Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to request clarification regarding the eligibility criteria for the current LIGAWINE open call. Specifically, we would like to confirm whether SMEs participating in the call are required to be non-profit entities, for-profit entities, or if both types of organizations are considered eligible. We would appreciate your guidance on this matter to ensure proper compliance with the call requirements. Thank you in advance for your help. Kind regards,

Thank you for your enquiry.

SMEs can be either non-profit or for-profit entities as long as they meet the EU SME definition.

2) For the purpose of the 70% LDR allocation rule, is Galicia (SPAIN) considered a Less Developed Region or an MD&T region? In the map is colored as MD&T, but according to the 2021-2027 cohesion period, the NUTS2 region of Galicia (ES11) is classified by the EU as a Less Developed Region, as its GDP falls below 75% of the EU average, therefore, we would like to clarify whether the Call will classify Galicia as a LDR. Thank you in advance

Thank you for your enquiry.

The Galicia region is considered a transition region, not a lesser developed region and so is not eligible.
